Race at the base this summer and take on one of the longest runways in Europe!

Set in Oxfordshire’s beautiful Cherwell Valley, this deserted Cold War airbase opens its gates for a challenging weekend of running and cycling. Pancake-flat, traffic-free and with the wind at your back, you’ll bomb along the runway and taxiways of one of the oldest airfields in the world.

Enter the duathlon on Saturday 19th June and run, bike, run your way to the finish line over a Standard, Sprint or Super Sprint distance.

On Sunday 20th June the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K & Family Mile will see you flying around the airfield like the buzzards that now rule the idle landing strips.

Entry and details can found here.

Further details will be communicated by email in the week leading up to the event.

Entry on the Day will not be available at these events.

With the exception of the Family Mile, these events will be Licensed with the British Triathlon Federation (BTF) and UK Athletics (UKA).
