‘As some of you may be aware, there was originally no market interest in this service and the Council has been working to secure an acceptable outcome since the tender process concluded a few weeks ago. As a result, an hourly service on Mondays to Saturdays has been secured on an initial contract until August 2023 so that further engagement with suppliers can be undertaken on the more comprehensive service that was originally planned.

Whilst unfortunately this service is not eligible for the national £2 fare cap scheme, we have agreed with Red Rose Travel that holders of a valid rail ticket to/from Bicester Village (on paper or mobile) can travel for a flat £1 single fare. Bus times are designed to connect with trains to/from Oxford at Bicester Village station.

ENCTS (concessionary) passes are valid after 0900 on Mondays to Fridays and all day on Saturdays.’
